#1 · Feb 4, 2023 Hi All. May I ask for help on my 2013 Peugeot 5008 with Engine DW10CTED4. I have encountered a problem with my ABS/ESP block and since my mechanic suggested it to be replaced, I have replaced the ABS/ESP Block with a used one sold on AutoFrance24.

The ABS light comes on in the dashboard of Peugeot 2008 when one or more of the wheel speed sensors have malfunctioned, brake fluid is too low, the fuse is blown or the relay is bad, tire pressure is low, or if the ABS module has developed a defect. When the ABS light / comes on in your 2008, the anti-lock braking system is disabled.

Posted: Wed 02 May, 2012 12:25 pm: Ive had same thing with my 207 1.4 petrol only mine started after the brake pads were changed (common prob apparently) I thought just sensors but its not have been told by pug tech that its the abs ecu not the pump thats gone - just so you know its located under left light underneath the bumper so you have to take plastic off to get at it wonderful location not!

Brake issue may or may not be connected to the water leaking into ecu. The rear lights are known for earth faults in the multi plug connectors. Fix for this is to run an extra earth line to the rear lights. Parts are around £5 and expect an hours labour if you can find a garage willing to do it. This discussion has been closed.

Yesterday when I was driving at 40MPH I suddenly got the parking brake faulty message and On the dash board Auto parking off light, Orange triangle, ABS and ESP lights came up. Stopped the car, switched off and on still getting the same errors.
